The rotisserie chicken broth is simmering as the lunches and breakfast salads are carefully packed for tomorrow. The fridge is stocked full and the pantry has been cleared of all off plan items. I am so happy to have arrived at this point, the eve of Whole30. The mental preparation is almost as hard as the cooking, but I’m ready.
The only difference from our last Whole30, this time we decided to eliminate all mammal meat as well. There is some good new evidence about mammal meat and humans and since the explicit goal of this program is to decrease inflammation, I can’t see a reason to eat it. I can certainly live without it for 30days, so we shall see how we are feeling.
